Dr. Tran was a 2025 graduate of the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California Nurse Anesthesia Program, where he distinguished himself as both a scholar and a compassionate clinician. During his training, he was recognized with the USC Agatha Hodgins Award for Clinical Achievement and was also a Scholarship Award Recipient, honors that reflected his commitment to the highest standards of patient care and academic performance.

Before entering the nurse anesthesia program, Dr. Tran worked as an ICU registered nurse. In 2021, he attended a Diversity CRNA Event as a prospective applicant, an experience that would later shape his dedication to mentorship and professional outreach.

In the years that followed, Dr. Tran became a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion within the field of nurse anesthesia. He selflessly dedicated his personal time to mentoring aspiring CRNAs, offering guidance and encouragement to those navigating the same path he once traveled. Most recently, in April 2025, he served as a mentor at the Diversity CRNA Event at the Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia, continuing his commitment to supporting future clinicians.
